Residential Solicitor
Location: Essex | Salary: £45,000 - £65,000
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years PQE (preferred but not essential). Solid experience in residential property law.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A proactive approach with commercial awareness.
The Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Solicitor to join their busy Property Department. The successful candidate will manage residential property matters, delivering exceptional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, remortgages, lease extensions, and transfers of equity.
- Providing sound legal advice to clients, maintaining a client-focused approach.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other property related documentation.
- Managing files from initial instruction through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and developing new business where appropriate.
